Support for Parents

Parents as Language Partners

Parents play a key role in supporting bilingualism and multilingualism at home. This is why our school programmes include a specialised course specifically for parents and caregivers. It looks at key areas including theory, language planning, and commons concerns. Parents will leave with a clear understanding of their role in their children’s bilingual development, and with strategies to be successful in helping their children achieve bilingualism.

On Raising Bilingual Children

Parents raising children who speak two or more languages will no doubt find Eowyn's parenting blog 'On Raising Bilingual Children' of particular interest. From tips and advice, to webinars and other resources, the parenting blog provides straightforward information in an accessible manner.
